Air fryer s'mores are so easy to make, they're ready in under 5 minutes using 3 ingredients & an air-fryer! And you can make them year-round, no campfire required!
S'mores is literally a contraction for "some more", and really it's quite fitting. The original recipe can be traced back to the early 1900s but it didn't officially get its name until the fifties. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole do a little research into why graham crackers were initially invented... thank me (or hate me) later.

Equipment I used for recipe:
- Ninja Foodie 9-1 Air Fryer Unit – This is the air fryer unit I use and it’s unreal because it comes with an instant pot, steamer, dehydrator, sautee, and more all in one unit! It comes in a couple of different sizes (I got the 8 quarts and it’s huge but I love it).
Ingredients for Air Fryer S'mores
- Graham Crackers (if GF, choose gluten-free option)
- Marshmellows (if vegan/vegetarian, choose ones with no gelatin)
- Chocolate
How to make S'mores in Air Fryer?
This air fryer recipe for s'mores is really easy to make and doesn't require much prep work at all. The only real kicker when making this recipe is dependent on which chocolate brand you use. I used an almond milk chocolate bar which melted pretty quickly, but some of the other darker chocolates take a little longer to melt.
- Take your graham crackers out of the package and split down the middle and set aside. Take your chocolate bar out of the wrapper and break off the bar into three piece sets.
- Open your air fryer and place one graham cracker in the basket, top with one set of three pieces of chocolate and one or two marshmellows. Repeat until you cannot fit any more s'mores into the air fryer basket. Do not top the s'more with a graham cracker. Close the lid and turn on to 400 degrees for four minutes.
- Lift the lid and take the s'mores out using a spatula to get underneath being careful not burn your hands on the hot air fryer. Serve immedietly.

Unfortunately, air fryer s'mores are not loaded with nutrition or this would make this recipe truly unstoppable. The majority of what a s'more is is sugar and simple carbs which convert to sugar quickly in our bloodstream. Adding in dark chocolate does help boost iron levels as well as being packed with antioxidants.
