This Beyond Meat Meatloaf recipe is ready in under an hour using a pack of Beyond Meat Beyond Beef to make it just like the one mom use to make! Recreating this childhood classic meatloaf was so much fun and brought back so many memories of sitting around the dinner table with my family!
The Beyond Meat Beyond Beef is such a versatile product and we use it all of the time in our many recipes because you don't need to add much to it to make a great meal. Realistically, you can use whichever plant-based ground beef you prefer, but we love using the Beyond Beef products for their unique tastes and flavours.

How To Make Beyond Meat Meatloaf
This Beyond Meat Meatloaf recipe is so easy to make and doesn't require a ton of dishes or time. The best part about this recipe is once it's cooking in the oven you can make a side dish or do whatever you want while it cooks!
The one ingredient that most people might not have offhand is the vegan Worcestershire sauce. It's pretty readily available at most grocery stores nowadays but I've also included a link below if you can't find it. "The Wizard's brand" is the easiest to find but realistically any vegan Worcestshire sauce would work. (bonus points because it's gluten-free.)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a large bowl use your hands to mix all the ingredients under the "loaf" heading. Make sure to mix as you want all the ingredients to comingle.
- In a small bowl whisk together all the ingredients under the "sauce" heading
- Transfer your meat mixture ingredients into a loaf pan trying to spread evenly as possible.
- Pour the sauce on top and spread as evenly as possible over meat mixture.
- Bake in the oven with not lid for 50 minutes
- Let rest for at least for 5 minutes after taking out of the oven.
Good Side Dishes to go with Beyond Meat Meatloaf

- Roasted Potatoes
- Rice
- Quinoa
- Loaded Sweet Potatoes
Kitchen Equipment I used for recipe:
- Vegan Worcestshire Sauce - This is the easiest to access sauce, we've found it at several grocery stores around Winnipeg as well as online.
- Aesthetically pleasing teal spoon set – a lot of people recently have been asking about my spoon set and I feel like a fraud because everyone thinks it’s some expensive set but it’s super inexpensive and they look amazing!
- Super cheap but quality non-stick pan – A good non-stick pan will change your life and it doesn’t have to break the bank. I love this one because it’s made out of granite and is super durable!

This Beyond Meat Meatloaf recipe has a pretty balanced nutrition profile. I think it's important to remember that you probably wouldn't be eating this recipe just by itself. You'll most likely be eating it with some sort of veggies and another side. Which will have a drastic change on the nutritional output of the meal as a whole.
Still, this recipe has some bright points all on its own.
- 51% of your daily Iron intake, which we know helps keep your body functioning and delivering blood effectively. Also usually a pain point to reach for many vegans.
- 21 g of protein per serving, as a side this is amazing because whatever else you add with this meal is only going to add more protein to the equation.
- 0 cholesterol, as almost every vegan recipe is, but I like to remind people.
No recipe is perfect nutritionally however, some of the things to watch for would be:
- High in sodium, as most recipes using processed plant meats are. If you're making the majority of your meals at home this shouldn't be too big of a concern, however if you eat out a lot or you've been instructed to watch your sodium intake it is something to be aware of.
Commonly Asked Beyond Meat Meatloaf Questions
Can you use beyond burger as ground beef?
Yes! Before the Beyond Beef Ground was available in Canada, we would often buy the burgers and crumble them in a pan and use them exactly like ground beef. The tricky part is figuring out the portion sizes because most recipes don't say "use two burgers"
Can you bake beyond meat?
Yes! Beyond Meat bakes very well. It has almost identical cookie properties to ground beef. As detailed in this recipe baking is not only possible it's easy and delicious!
Can you eat beyond meat every day?
Yes, you can. Is it advised? Maybe not. There isn't inherently anything wrong with Beyond Meat (contrary to what you might read in news outlets) but processed foods do tend to have higher sodium and strip a lot of the nutritional value out. Even though this recipe is still pretty balanced nutritionally there are better more nutritionally dense foods out there.

Perfect comfort food for the first cold snap in TX! I forgot the garlic and only used 1/4 c of soy milk. Was still super moist (I hate that word) and tasty. Next time I’m going to go half and half bread crumbs and rolled oats. Growing up we always used rolled oats and it should give a little added texture. I served this with roasted garlic cauliflower mash and green salad. So satisfying I did a happy dance in my chair!

Wowza! This was easy and tasty. It's our new favorite recipe! Used a real egg and milk, as we are vegetarians - not vegans. Only other substitution we made was liquid smoke (didn't have the vegie Worcester sauce). Appreciate also that this recipe is gluten free, as I have Celiac disease. So yummy with mashed potatoes as suggested. Looking forward to trying other recipes on this site.

So tasty and easy!! True confession time - I used (gasp) an egg and regular milk but I still expected it to taste, well, second best to meatloaf with meat. Not at all! We will definitely be putting this on rotation. Ps also used seasoned breadcrumbs.
